Mick Miller – Comedian
Mick Miller has had a long and successful career spanning more than 40 years. He first came to prominence on ITV's iconic The Comedians, alongside British TV favourites Roy Walker and Stan Boardman, and went on to appear on 3-2-1, Seaside Special and Blankety Blank with his good friend Les Dawson. His career has also taken in live theatre tours and summer seasons.
Today Mick still plays comedy clubs regularly, entertaining young audiences, and he's well respected by the new generation of comedians.
But Mick's first ambition was to be a footballer. As a boy he signed for Port Vale as a goalkeeper, when Stanley Matthews was the club's general manager, and he had a trial for England's youth team. Football has always been a big part of Mick's life, just like his love of making people smile.
We're truly honoured that Mick chose Fylde Coast Inclusive FC as his charity. His help and support have made a real difference to our club and to the mental and physical health of our local community. Thank you, Mick, from all of us.
